After visiting London, I rode northwest to Berkhamsted to see my mother's pen pal, Marny and her family - Jim, Lloyd and Jackie; here Marny (right) and her daughter Jackie (left) pose by my bike in front of their house.
Jackie and I posed for our picture together; as a visiting Yank on a bicycle was an uncommon sight in these parts, I'm sure.
