Thank you for your kind comments! ♥ Our family has been blessed to have had the unique opportunity to live and travel overseas, and as ‘pictures are worth a thousand words,’ I’ve shared my story with everyone through my pictures.

I have one more photo post left in this series before beginning to post my writings, which combined, tell the story of my adventures and journey from a small town in Michigan to distant horizons around the world! I’d like to inspire everyone in my own small way to follow their hearts and live their dreams…because if I could…everybody can! ♥

Thank you for your very kind words! My wife loves to decorate and has always done a wonderful job taking care of her two guys! Our philosophy has always been that we’re the ‘caretakers’ of all that is given and entrusted to us in life, so we care for them the best we can while they’re in our service and use…and give away the things that are ours, once we no longer need them. It’s actually very fulfilling to give something away that we’ve owned for years that still looks brand new. We’ve always applied the same philosophy to renting homes, because they’ve been entrusted to our care. It may be an ‘old fashioned’ philosophy, but that’s the only way we’ve ever lived!

The sun does shine in England, perhaps more than you might think – but it usually doesn’t stick around for very long. Most days are partly cloudy or overcast for at least part of the day. Despite the weather, we really loved our time in England…and would move back again in a heartbeat!

It’s hard to believe that you rented for those many years. I wish I encountered renters like you. The roses are beautiful, but then, so is everything else. Your lovely wife did a magnificent job making your home so warm and cozy. I’ve never been to England, but have heard exactly what you stated; the sun doesn’t shine often. I think I would hate that; being a California girl through and through. Lovely post…thanks for sharing.

Technology today allows us to share in the lives of so many people around the world! Even though we won’t get the opportunity to physically be there ourselves, we can experience the lives of others and places around the world through the wonders of technology!

I appreciate the time I spent living overseas and all the opportunities it presented me with while I was there! I’d love to travel everywhere and see different cultures and how people live…but then there’s reality! I was able to see most of Europe, much of the Middle East and parts of Africa, so in that respect I was blessed!
