Photos – Hahn AB, Germany – 1989-1991 (Set One – The Gulf War – 10th TFS/614th TFS)

Over the past weekend (May 1-3, 2009) I attended an Operation Desert Storm Reunion in Phoenix, AZ, of the 363rd TAC FIGHTER WG (Deployed).  It was our first reunion in the 18 years since the Persian Gulf War.  Our wing had three squadrons of F-16 Vipers and was made up of the 17th TFS and the 33rd TFS (both out of Shaw AFB, SC); and the 10th TFS out of Hahn Air Base (AB), Germany – where I was stationed at the time.  I also served with the 614th TFS (Deployed) from Torrejon Air Base, Spain, during the Gulf War. Without a doubt, the Persian Gulf War was the defining experience of my entire life, and I was honored to have served with these outstanding men and women.

Over time I’ll continue to add photo sets to this blog, and the good news is that I have plenty of material from my life to enter and write about – so I should be at this for a while!  So grab a cup of coffee and a snack, pull up a chair and enjoy the feature presentation – I hope you enjoy it!  🙂

Cheers,

Mark
