To love is to be vulnerable and risk rejection, yet to be loved is to gain the world! “Time Stands Still” is a little song from Set 2 that I recorded in 1996 that speaks to the emotion of love, sunshine, the world going around, the sands of time, and watching a sunrise. I only recorded this song once, and if I was to do it again, I’d start slowly and gradually build up speed instead of jumping right into it from the start. I was still trying to get my feet on the ground recording-wise during Set 2, and missed the transitional note leading into the ending, but what the heck – it was what it was – a snapshot of a day in the life of this dreamer!
