Need Your Lovin’ is short, simple and fun little song that speaks to the power of love to make your heart sing and rejoice in that love.  I wrote this song based on the intro phrase that came to me one day, “She’s my baby she’s the only one…” and I simply finished the thought using a few basic guitar chords: C, G, D and A, “She’s my baby she’s the only one, I’ll never ever love another one, She gives me her love every single day, She’s the one that brightens my day…”

“Need Your Lovin'” is a short, little song I recorded as part of Set 4 in 1996, that actually turned out pretty well for this aspiring songwriter at the time. All of my recordings after Set 2 were played on my 12-string acoustic Ovation guitar, which I liked for the clear, fresh sound it produced, and by now I was growing more comfortable with the recording process and playing my own songs!
